Kazira Orphaned Children and Community Development

Kazira Orphaned Children and Community Development (aka KOCCD) is a growing non-Governmental organization in Kabale district, south western Uganda, on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi, to care for orphaned children and, with time, Kazira will extend to other Kigezi region districts of Rubanda, Rukiga, Kisoro, Kanungu and Rukungiri that make up the Kigezi region.

KOCCD’s purpose is to be the Umbrella organization that shelters and protects orphaned children, while integrating life skills for survival, amongst the development of education and self-sufficiency opportunities for both the KOC and the surrounding Communities – and under KOCCD, there are projects that are developing, not all at once.
